Description
18" (46 cm). Solid domed bisque socket-head,
sculpted boyish hair in sideswept fashion, narrow
blue glass squinting eyes, brown painted lashes,
single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, closed mouth modeled as though open in
crying expression, modeled teeth, shaded lips,
mouth interior and tongue, French composition and
wooden fully-jointed body, antique shirt, velvet
pants, black leather shoes. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: SFBJ 233 Paris 6. Comments:
SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: rarer model from
their 200 character series, aptly portraying a
crying child, with exemplary bisque and painting.
