Description
20" (51 cm). Standing upon a velvet-covered
base is a bisque-headed child with blue glass
paperweight eyes, lushly painted lashes and
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with
shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig
over cork pate, carton moule torso and legs,
wire upper arms, paper mache legs. Attached
to doll's torso is a wooden bird cage with bird
and draped with cherries, and in her right
hand she holds a branch of cherries. When
wound, the doll turns her head from side to
side, nods, while alternately the bird flutters
and then she offers cherries from the branch;
music plays. Condition: generally excellent.
