Description
12"H, 11"L (30 cm, 28 cm). An all-bisque baby
with sculpted blonde hair in tousled fashion,
blue intaglio downcast eyes with heavily modeled
eyelids, feathered brows, closed mouth with
shaded space between the lips, impressed dimples,
is seated inside a large bisque shoe, his toes
peeking out the front, and a real lace
intertwined throughout the stringing holes, his
arms outstretched holding the laces, with white
ruffled neckline smock. Excellent condition.
Marked Heubach (sunburst). Gebruder Heubach,
circa 1912, the very large figurine has
extraordinary quality of sculpting and
characterization.
