Description
16" (40 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head,
intaglio grey painted eyes with prominent black
pupils and white eyedots, black and incised
eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, center
accent line between lips, brunette human hair,
composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique
lavender cotton dress with lace trim,
undergarments, leather shoes. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 7407 Germany Heubach
(sunburst). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa
1912. Value Points: very rare Heubach model,
undocumented in previous Heubach works, enhanced
by superb sculpting, impressed dimples on cheeks,
full lips and eye corners.
