11"H (28 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure of
seated baby with legs drawn up and arms clasping
his knees, head turned sideways, with modeled
bathing cap in orange-trimmed yellow, white
embossed swim suit, deeply sculpted facial
features, narrow side-glancing eyes, black upper
eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, pug nose,
closed mouth with smiling expression, shaded
lips. Excellent condition. Marked Heubach
(sunburst). Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, rare
large size with superb characterization,
outstanding sculpting detail such as intertwined
fingers, dimples, cap gathering
