Bisque socket-head, painted facial features, brown upper-glancing eyes, black upper eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with smiling expression, shaded lips, row of painted teeth, well defined chin, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition; generally excellent. Marks: 151 S&H 7 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910 from their very rare series of art character dolls. Value Points: the rare doll has superb modeling, exemplary and flawless bisque and painting, original body and body finish, original wig.
