Description
32" (81 cm). All-cloth doll with flat-dimensional
face, oil-painted features with brown outlined
eyes, painted white eyedots, brown eyeliner and
single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed
mouth with shaded lips, brown shaded hair around
the forehead, stitch-jointed muslin body, antique
white school dress, bonnet, undergarments.
Condition: generally excellent, some typical
paint rubs on hair. Comments: American, circa
1890, the model is similar to the Columbian doll,
pencil lettered 'Daisy' on back torso. Value
Points: most appealing larger size and fine
quality of painting.
