16" (40 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head with solid dome and neck stringing loop, painted blonde brush stroked hair under blonde mohair wig, intaglio narrow blue eyes with prominent black pupils, black and incised eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in very pronounced crying expression, defined tongue, shaded and accented lips, deeply sculpted frown lines around the mouth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique blue woolen suit, saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, their 7634 model, circa 1912. Value Points: very dramatic and expressively sculpted character with choice bisque and painting.
