14" (35 cm). Bisque socket-head, brown glass
inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows,
accented nostrils, closed mouth, accented lips,
blonde mohair curly wig over plaster pate,
composition and wooden six-loose-ball-jointed
body with straight wrists, antique white boy's
suit, leather shoes. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 10. Comments: Kestner, circa
1885. Value Points: the shy expression and pale
complexion pleasingly contrast the chubby face
and rich brown eyes, original body and body
finish.
