Description
15" (38 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head,
blue intaglio eyes with prominent black pupils,
red and black upper eyeliner, short feathered
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with
center accent line on the downcast lips,
brunette flocked hair, composition and
wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 7602 Heubach (sunburst)
Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,
circa 1912. Value Points: excellent bisque and
painting, rarer flocked hair. The pouty-faced
boy appears in "Heubach Character Dolls and
Figurines" by Lydia Richter, page 54.
