Description
15" (38 cm). Bisque shoulderhead turned to the
right and downward, brown glass sleep eyes,
painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with
outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate,
kid gusset-jointed body with bisque forearms,
antique costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: l. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value
Points: gentle expression enhanced by fine
quality of bisque, original sturdy body.
