Description
10" (25 cm). One-piece all-bisque seated baby
with painted brown hair under extravagantly
sculpted wide ruffled bisque bonnet with yellow
bows, painted blue eyes, red and black eyeliner,
closed mouth with beaming smile, two beaded lower
teeth, chubby baby arms and legs with well-
detailed fingers and toes, modeled smock with
ruffled collar. Excellent condition, two firing
separations on bottom of base rim, horizontal
firing line on chin. Germany, attributed to
Hertwig, circa 1915.
