Description
16" (40 cm). Bisque socket-head with high domed
forehead, pale blue glass inset eyes with spiral
threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes,
brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented
nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two square-
cut upper and lower teeth, pierced ears, blonde
mohair wig, composition shoulderplate on original
kid gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms and
hands, antique blue fashion gown. Condition:
generally excellent, some crazing on
shoulderplate. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa
1880. Marks: SH 6 908. Value Points: very rare
early model with beautiful eyes and expression,
choice bisque.
