Description
Each 11" (28 cm). Both are all-plastic models of
adult female with exaggerated female form and
shapely figure, painted facial features with
modeled eyelids, strong cheek and chin modeling,
shaped high-heeled feet with modeled shoes.
Condition: generally excellent, Bild Lilli has
darkened legs. Comments: included is Bild Lilli
produced as a promotional model for the German
Bild newspaper in 1955, with blonde ponytail and
forehead curl, white knit sweater, red shorts,
blue belt, earrings; and Japanese-style Lilli,
circa 1965, with black ponytail and painted
spitcurl on forehead, rayon sheath, earrings.
Value Points: rare dolls in well-preserved
condition, beautiful facial complexion on Bild
Lilli.
