23" (58 cm). Bisque socket-head, brown glass
sleep eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner,
short feathered brows, dark eyeliner, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips,
brunette mohair extended-length wig, composition
and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig

1912, the doll was marketed by them as "Mein
Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling). Value
Points: exceptional quality of bisque with
gorgeous dewy patina, deeply modeled features,
luxury wig, original body and body finish, very
fine antique lace and embroidered costume.
