Description
21" (53 cm). Bisque socket-head with solid
dome, painted blonde hair in boyish fashion,
dark intaglio eyes, white eyedots, incised and
black upper eyeliner, short-stroke brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, closed
mouth with defined space and two modeled
teeth between the shaded lips, kid body with
gusset jointing, bisque forearms, antique
costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 7 Germany 7054. Comments:
Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points:
exceptional detail of impressed dimples on
cheeks and chin of the rarer model. The doll
appears in "Heubach Character Dolls and
Figurines" by Lydia Richter, page 42.
