Description
5"H (13 cm). Emerging from a bisque snow ball
(open at top for use as container) are the heads
and limbs of two playful character boys
resembling Max and Moritz, costumed in green and
red sweaters and caps. Excellent condition.
Attributed to Hertwig, circa 1915. Wonderfully
imaginative figural group with excellent facial
detail, the "snow" finish is perfectly preserved.
