Description
26" (66 cm). Thick hand-pressed porcelain
shoulderhead with cameo-shaped face and very
elongated throat, black sculpted hair with
centerpart, wide shaped hair wings at the sides
of head gathered into coiled braid at the back,
pale blue downward-glancing eyes, heavily modeled
eyelids with black eyeliner, single-stroke brows,
accented nostrils of aquiline nose, closed mouth
with center accent line, (new) muslin body, old
porcelain limbs, antique costume. Condition:
generally excellent, left leg reglued. Comments:
Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare model
with exceptional detail of sculpting of hair and
facial features.
