Description
9" (23 cm). Young toddler with one-piece bisque
head, torso and legs, jointed bisque arms with
spread fingers, is wearing a sculpted white
romper suit, shoes and socks, along with white
bunny hood and pink-tinged ears, brown forelock
curl, side-glancing eyes, closed mouth. Attached
to the toddler's back is a large pink-shaded egg-
shell candy container. The romper suit has
drilled holes at sides of legs for insertion of
silk ribbons (in the manner of Baby Stuart's
cap). Professional restoration to back torso.
Attributed to Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912,
wonderfully detailed characterization and costume
of the rare bunny doll.
