16" (40 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head, short brown sculpted hair with side part, forelock curl and topknot, round chubby face, large blue painted eyes looking to the right and downward in an astonished manner, black and incised eyeliner, curvy brows, pug nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8590 Heubach (square). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1914. Value Points: very rare Heubach model has fabulously expressive features enhanced by deep modeling of character lines, choicest bisque and painting.
