15" (38 cm). Bisque socket-head with chubby
facial modeling, small blue glass sleep eyes,
painted lashes, feathered brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with
slightly parted lips, four teeth, blonde mohair
bobbed wig, composition and wooden
ball-jointed toddler body, antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent, one finger
repaired. Marks: 10532 Heubach (square)
Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,
circa 1915. Value Points: appealing
wistful-faced child. The doll is featured in
"Heubach Character Dolls and Figurines" by
Lydia Richter, pages 49 and 61.
