Description
10"L (25 cm). One-piece all-bisque figure of
young baby lying on his back, inclined to one
side as though playing with a nearby object, arms
and legs posed playfully in the air with curled
fingers and toes, blonde sculpted hair with
prominent forelock curls, intaglio side-glancing
eyes, black upper eyeliner, one stroke brows,
closed mouth with crooked smile, modeled white
baby jacket and panties with embossed pique
design. Excellent condition. Marked Heubach
(sunburst) 3820. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912,
unusual variations include embossed costume
design and facial expression.
