Description
14" (35 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head,
deeply sculpted short brown hair with tousled
curls and modeled pink hair bow, intaglio blue
side-glancing eyes, black and incised eyeliner,
short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed
mouth in "O" shape with shaded lips and mouth
interior, impressed cheek dimples, composition
and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach
(square) 7760 Germany. Comments: Gebruder
Heubach, circa 1912, a smaller variation of #5 of
this book, the model known as the "Singing
Heubach" in reference to mouth modeling. Value
Points: rare model in appealing petite size with
wonderful characterization.
