Wax over paper mache swivel head on wax shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, brunette wig in ornate coiffure, paper mache cinched-waist torso, wooden dowel-jointed upper arms and legs, paper mache lower arms and legs with bendable jointing, painted brown ankle boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, one lower arm replaced. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: rare body style, swivel head, original ornate wig.
