Description
15" (38 cm). Amber tinted bisque socket-head,
small brown glass sleep eyes, painted dark curly
upper lashes, black feathered brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, slightly parted
accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, black
mohair wig, amber tinted composition baby body.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H made in
Germany 9 243 JDK (head) Germany (body stamp).
Comments: Kestner, circa 1915, the facial model
was used for this doll only and is apt portrayal
of young Chinese child. Value Points: rare doll
with beautiful quality of bisque and modeling,
perfect original body, silk costume.
