Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, rose blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 19 (head) (original Steiner paper label on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1888. Value Points: beautiful bisque and painting, original body and body finish, wearing original French mariner costume.
