Pink tinted porcelain shoulder head of adult woman with cameo-shaped face and elongated slender throat, brown painted hair with shaded coloring waved away from face with detailed tendrils around the forehead, the hair arranged in coiled braid at back of head with nape curls and decorated with multi-colored morning glory flowers at each of the partially modeled ears, pale blue painted eyes, black upper eyeliner and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, muslin body, porcelain arms. Condition: generally excellent, few small rubs on face, newer body. Comments: Germany, attributed to Schlaggenwald, circa 1870, the doll is referred to as "Morning Glory Lady" in reference to her sculpted hair ornaments. Value Points: rare porcelain model with regal expression, exquisite sculpture of face, antique satin gown.
