Description
24" (61 cm). Porcelain shoulderhead with rounded
face, sculpted short black hair in boyish manner,
stippled detail around the forehead and sides of
head, sculpted ears, painted blue eyes, red and
black upper eyeliner, single-stroke black brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth
with accent line between the lips, muslin stitch-
jointed body. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points:
especially fine and unusual sculpting of hair,
painted stippling details, antique woolen
costume.
