Description
7" - 8 1/2" (18 - 22 cm). Includes two
all-wooden Grodnertal dolls with painted hair
and facial features, and dowel-jointed
articulated body, one with very elongated
throat and beautiful painted curls, wearing
blue silk, and the other with early costume
(some paint wear on face). Along with doll
having carved curls, one-piece head and
red-painted torso, wooden limbs, kid
attachment at upper arms and legs.
Condition: good to excellent. Comments:
Grodnertal, early/mid 19th century. Value
points: appealing assortment of early wooden
dolls.
