Description
17" (43 cm). Bisque socket-head with more slender
face portraying an older child, painted facial
features, slightly side-glancing brown eyes with
decorative glaze, black and incised upper
eyeliner, one stroke tapered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with very full shaded
lips, defined chin, brunette mohair wig,
composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely
costumed in antique dress, undergarments, shoes
and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
K*R 109 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa
1910, from their art character series. Value
Points: a rare character model with exemplary
sculpting, bisque and painting, original body and
body finish, very expressive features.
