15" (38 cm). Carved/pressed wooden socket-head
with painted facial features, brown eyes with
white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, feathered
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouty
expression, brunette mohair tacked-on wig, wooden
spring-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, pat. Jan'17,'11
USA and Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut,
circa 1912. Value Points: pristine unplayed
condition with superbly preserved facial painting
and wig, original knit teddy, Schoenhut stockings
and shoes with grommet-edged holes in soles,
romper suit is probably original.
