Description
9"H (23 cm). One-piece bisque bust of young lad
leaning his elbows on a bisque log, his hands
supporting his inclined head. The boy has blonde
sculpted tousled hair with deeply sculpted
details, side-glancing intaglio eyes with deep
laughter furrows enhanced by incised eyeliner,
painted brows, closed mouth modeled as though
open with laughing expression and painted teeth,
painted white shirt with pink dots and collar and
cuffs. Marked Heubach (sunburst, impressed and
blue stamp). Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912.
Excellent condition of the rare large size figure
with superb sculpting and painting.
