Description
8"H (20 cm). Lithographed tin figure of Mortimer
in red, white and blue marching uniform with
hinged arms, legs and head, is pushing a large
wheeled parade drum with an illustration of his
face on the drumhead. When wound, he rotates his
head, marches along, beats the drum. Very good
condition, works. Marked "Mortimer Snerd's
Hometown Band" and Marx. American, Marx, circa
1940.
