Description
6 1/2" (16 cm). Lithographed tin street organ
with spoked wheels is being pushed by gaudily
dressed gypsy man, a monkey seated atop the
organ. When wound, the man winds the organ which
moves forward, monkey jumps up and down, and
music plays. Very good condition, monkey not
original but appropriate, works. Germany,
Distler, circa 1923.
