facial modeling, dark blue glass paperweight
inset eyes with spiral threading, painted lashes
with dot highlights, rose blushed eye shadow,
thickly fringed brows with feathered highlights,
accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed
mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced
ears, blonde mohair fleecy wig over original
Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully jointed
body with separated fingers. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Figure C No. 2, Steiner Bte
SGDG Paris (head). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa
1885. Value Points: superb bebe with outstanding
bisque and painting, original body and body
finish, completely original aqua silk costume
with lace trim, matching fancy bonnet,
undergarments, socks, black leather shoes with
brown silk rosettes (marked with figure of doll
on soles).
