Description
15" (38 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulderplate, grey glass enamel inset
eyes with spiral threading, painted lashes,
feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, closed mouth with pale accented lips,
pierced ears, blonde mohair wig in original
coiffure over cork pate, kid fashion body with
shapely waist, one piece kid arms and legs,
stitched and separated fingers. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head) Jumeau
Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile
Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: rare signed
poupee in perfectly preserved original state,
original wig, pate, signed body that is very
sturdy, original winter white woolen dress with
fur stole, very elaborate bonnet, undergarments,
white leather shoes, bone-handled parasol.
