Description
12" x 9" (30 x 23 cm) box, 8" (20 cm) doll. A
heavy paper box with moire paper cover and gilt
edging is gilt lettered "Etrennes 1891" on its
lid. Inside is presented a bisque-head bebe with
blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted
lashes, thick brushstroked brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, blonde
mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition
body with shoulder and hip jointing, rose silk
dress with lace edging, lace cap, stockings,
black leather slippers, original chemise.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Paris A 1

exclusive Etrennes holiday doll by Paris toy
boutique. Value Points: an exceptional
presentation, in fabulous unplayed condition, the
doll is laid in its original lace-edged box,
having an assortment of original costumes, toys,
and accessories still tied to box.
