24" (61 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded
facial modeling, almond-shaped blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, eyeliner encircles the
eye cuts, painted lashes, rose blushed eye
shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows,
accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed
mouth, shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears,
blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner
composition fully jointed body with straight
wrists, cupped and separated fingers. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Sie A 5 (incised) Bte
SGDG Bourguoin (tiny ink letters at rim)
(caduceus symbol on body). Comments: Jules
Steiner, circa 1884. Value Points: the rare
model, series A, is enhanced by beautiful facial
expression, finest quality of bisque, delicate
rose-blushed complexion, original body, antique
ivory silk costume, undergarments, wonderful
