Description
17" (43 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel
inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut,
painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with
accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig
over cork pate, French kid fashion body with
shapely torso, gusset jointing at hips, knees,
elbows, stitched and separated fingers, nicely
costumed in aqua silk satin gown of antique
fabrics. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4
(shoulderplate) Au Paradis des Enfants, Perreau
Fils (body label). Comments: circa 1870. Value
Points: especially beautiful face with choicest
bisque, original boutique label on sturdy body,
included is trunk with two additional costumes
(one of antique fabrics, one is antique), two
parasols and other accessories.
