20" (51 cm). Brown bisque socket head, brown
glass inset eyes, painted lashes, incised
eyeliner, black brushstroked brows with
decorative glaze, open mouth, shaded lips, four
porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig,
French composition and wooden fully jointed body,
mauve taffeta dress, undergarments. Condition:
bisque excellent, body not original but
appropriately sized. Marks: S&H 1079 dep Germany
9. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value
Points: unusual model with pretty complexion
complementing the wide-eyed expression.
