20" (51 cm). Felt swivel head with pressed and
painted facial features, large brown eyes with
white eyedots, thickly fringed upper lashes, grey
lower eyeshadow, fringed brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with pouty expression, two
accent dots on bottom lips, blushed cheeks,
blonde mohair wig in fleecy curls, felt five
piece body with jointed arms and legs. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Lenci Made in Italy
252 (box). Comments: Lenci, model 252, circa
1930. Value Points: very rare model with most
captivating expression, original costume in very
fresh and vibrant condition (few minute moth
holes) includes teal green felt gown with
garlands of felt flowers over organdy blouse with
ruffled sleeves, matching cap, apple green felt
petticoat, organdy petticoat and pantalets, felt
slippers, and carrying a little wooden bird cage
with pair of love birds, with original box having
