20" (51 cm). Composition socket-head, green sleep
eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, dark
eyeshadow, feathered brows, closed mouth with bow-
shaped lips, brunette mohair wig in elaborate
coiffure, five-piece slender composition body.
Condition: original finish, some light crazing
typical for this model, few costume spots, net
worn on veil. Marks: Madame Alexander (clover
leaf tag). Comments: Alexander, circa 1940. Value
Points: from the rare Alexander portrait series,
the gorgeous doll has original coiffure decorated
with flowers, original tagged gown, wrist
corsage, veil, undergarments, shoes and wrist
tag.
