12" (30 cm). Composition socket-head, green sleep
eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, smoky
eyeshadow, closed mouth, black mohair wig, five-
piece composition body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Alexander (doll) Scarlett
O'Hara by Madame Alexander (costume). Comments:
Alexander, circa 1938, based upon the heroine
of "Gone with the Wind". Value Points: pristine
unplayed condition, the doll wears original
flowered cotton gown with hooped petticoat,
pantalets, straw bonnet, green shoes, socks, has
original paper label with illustration of Tara
and Scarlett, and original box stamped "Scarlett
O'hara, model 1501."
