16" (40 cm). Hand pressed porcelain shoulderhead with pink tinting, oval shaped face, black sculpted hair waved around the face in detailed waves and arranged at back of head in tightly coiled braids, painted pale blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth with center accent line, homespun stitch-jointed body, porcelain arms from above the elbows, antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, right thumb tip chipped. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: highly characterized facial features enhanced by fine quality porcelain, strong modeling of throat, original porcelain limbs.
