Description
10" x 8" (25 x 20 cm). A firm-sided box has
decorative paper cover with lithographed design
on the lid depicting a Wizard, fly, smoke, cat
and hourglass; a lady of the court is shown
consulting the Wizard. Inside is a magnetic wheel
with questions that, when placed upon the center
dial causes the "mysterious fly" to revolve until
the proper answer box is chosen. The interior is
decorated with eight beautiful miniature boxes
containing the various "answers". Excellent
condition. French, circa 1880. A rare toy in
wonderfully preserved condition.
