24" (61 cm). Bisque socket head, dark blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes with "dot"
highlights, thickly fringed painted brows with
feathered highlights, accented eye corners,
shaded nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and
outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig
over cork pate, Steiner composition and wooden
fully jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A
17 (head) (paper label on torso portraying doll
holding French flag). Comments: Jules Steiner,
circa 1889. Value Points: beautiful Steiner bebe
with finest creamy bisque, soft rose eyeshadow,
