Description
13" (33 cm). Composition socket head with
amusingly sculpted facial features depicting a
grinning young girl, blue glass inset eyes,
painted lashes and arched brows, pug nose, wide
beaming smile, very rosy cheeks, brunette human
hair, carton moule torso containing clockwork
mechanism, wire upper arms, composition lower
arms and large feet with painted shoes, antique
costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
R.D. (key). Comments: Roullet et Decamps, when
wound the girl "rocks" the baby she holds in her
arms while kicking her right leg side to side.
Value Points: amusing character model with well-
functioning mechanical action.
