32" (81 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass
sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, incised
eyeliner, modeled and brushstroked brows with
feathered highlights, accented nostrils and eye
corners, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips,
four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair over
plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed
body, antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: made in Germany 16 1/2 171
(head) Excelsior Germany (body). Comments:
Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful
quality of bisque and sculpting, original body
and body finish.
