16" (40 cm). Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, rich cornflower blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid fashion body with shapely waist, gusset jointing at hips, knees, and elbows, stitched and separated fingers, antique ivory silk gown, undergarments, leather boots, bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1870. Value Points: especially beautiful poupee with dramatically colored eyes that contrast the pale bisque, very sturdy original body.
