Description
17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head, dark blue glass
sleep eyes, fringed upper lashes, one stroke
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, very
expressive fully-shaped pouty lips with shading
and outline, blonde mohair wig, composition and
wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: K*R 114 43. Comments: Kammer
and Reinhardt, circa 1912, "Gretchen" from their
art character reform series. Value Points: very
rare glass-eyed version of Gretchen has superior
quality of modeling, bisque and painting,
original body and body finish, antique costume.
